The story behind our handmade products
Made with love
My grandmother is originally from Macedonia. She and my grandfather, from Kosovo, were forced to migrate to Turkey in 1947. My mom is their first child and daughter, and I am the first granddaughter of our family. My grandmom holds a very special place in my heart, as does my mom. Two devoted women in my life, dearly precious!
My grandmom retired from a career as a seamstress. Nowadays she dedicates her free time to her children and grandchildren, and is a pillar of support for me and my business.
These colourful aprons, trivets and pot holders, are lovingly handcrafted by my grandmother together with my mom, applying old-school Balkan expertise on her vintage black Singer sewing machine (treadle, baby). Perfect for anyone who loves to cook in style, and adorn their kitchen with our handmade culinary accoutrements. An elegant gift for any occasion.
